Primitive "mixer" Not a paddle! This stirrer, antique mixer is to stir your apple / pear butter as it cooks on an open fire in your huge cast iron caldron or copper kettle.
The handle is about Eight + FEET LONG to keep chef away from the heat - mostly.
The mixer locks into the kettle handle to hold it in place.
Very rare piece to display and start conversation.
