A floater is an individual who assists around the center as needed.
One main duty is to give teachers breaks and watch over the children who are in your care.
A float can be in one classroom all day if a teacher were to call off.
A float can also be giving breaks, helping in the kitchen and be in charge of snack all in the same day.
Floats can also be our cleaning person for the day and assist in keeping the center sanitized in all areas.
Cleaning can be spraying down the gym to cleaning the bathroom to doing the kitchen laundry.
A floater person needs to be able to work with all ages of children that we serve at the center.
We have children ages 18 months-12 years old.
Floats are also required to complete any duties assigned to them by administration.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, CDA or higher degree.
Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Transportation, 18 years or older, Must be able to pass a background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.
35 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
