*RESPONSIBILITIES*
*Assistant Teacher:*
* Works cooperatively with the lead teacher in teaching and implementing activities and plans.
* Implement activities that ensure the safety, involvement, and creativity of each individual in the group.
* Work with the Lead Teacher to plan, discuss and implement daily plans in accordance with the current curriculum, incorporating the Ohio Department of Education Standards.

*REQUIREMENTS *
* Proven experience in an early education center
* A love for children and strong desire to teach and make a difference
* Understanding of child development skills
* Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Ability to handle multiple situations effectively
* Organized with attention to detail
*EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS*
A minimum of an Infant/Toddler (Child Development Associate credential) or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
The following certifications are required: First-Aid, Communicable Disease, CPR (infant/child/adult) and Child Abuse Certifications within 90 days
Must attend continuing training classes designed to broaden professionalism, education and skill.
Position placement location dependent on need.
