Job Description We are looking for a Infant Childcare Teacher to encourage the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of the children in our facilities.
While the focus is on infants, you must have the ability to work well with children of all ages to inspire learning through play.
The daycare is based on an age-appropriate curriculum that will lay a strong educational foundation for their lives.
Responsibilities: * Design and follow a full schedule of activities from our philosophy based on Creative Curriculum while meeting each child’s basic needs * Have a positive proactive style of communication to work with a team of teachers as well as parents * To continue education in the field of Early Childhood Development for a specific age group * To promote Step Up to Quality standards for the state of Ohio * Adhere to all State Licensing Requirements Requirements: * Meet medical and background check requirements of local childcare regulatory agency * Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent * Must have reliable transportation * Obtain certificate in first aid and CPR within thirty days of employment * Must be able to lift and handle children thirty-five pounds Work Culture * Staff supports one another, creating a team environment * Part of larger organization where there is support/assistance for childcare education Job Type: Full Time Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift between 10AM - 6PM or Part-Time Monday to Friday 2PM - 6PM.
