*Department- Appliance Repair*
*Overview*
Provides onsite troubleshooting and repair of household appliances for Hartville Hardware’s customers.
Uses strong mechanical skills, as well as computer based technical documentation to quickly and accurately troubleshoot issues, and recommend repair solutions.
Uses strong customer service skills, to explain needed repairs and proper use and care of machines to customers.
Interacts with other techs as well as dispatchers to help foster teamwork, and improve department success.
*Essential Duties*
Use laptop computer to access technical information, and route data.
Use company vehicle to safely commute between service calls.
Use product knowledge and technical information to troubleshoot customer issues.
Prepare repair estimates.
Use strong mechanical abilities to complete repairs.
Use strong computer skills to complete the necessary paperwork.
Use customer service skills to interact with customers appropriately in order to explain the failure, and well as the necessary repair, and associated cost.
Be able to train customers on proper use and care of their product.

8am to end of route
Monday through Friday
Must have clean driving record
Will be provided company vehicle
*Education*
High School or equivalent
Universal EPA certification (preferred but not required)
