Job Title: Full Time Parts Coordinator
Department: Appliance/Outdoor Power Repair
Overview: Responsible for all aspects of procuring parts for Outdoor Power Equipment Repair and Appliance Repair.
Essential Duties:
Receives part requests from technicians, locates correct part numbers and creates all special orders to satisfy technician requests.
Is responsible for ensuring relevant technician parts inventories are correct - e.
g.
when something is removed from parts, it is accounted for properly in a special order/service order/warranty order.
Determine status of necessary parts in relation to repair areas.
Orders non-stock parts.
Retrieves stocked parts, receives orders and delivers to technician work stations.
Regularly and quickly communicates part status with technicians.
Communicates back order statuses with customers (Appliance Repair and Outdoor Power Repair).
Performs in depth searches for alternative to back order parts (Appliances and Outdoor Power Repair).
Orders parts on weekly Appliance Repair Large Part Order List.
Receives and bins all incoming Appliance Repair Parts.
Communicates with Accounts Receivable to ensure all drop shipped parts are properly received.
Makes location entries in appropriate service orders for shipped to store parts.
Communicates with Appliance Repair customers to reschedule service when all parts are received.
Ensure technicians are allotted time to pick up shipped to store parts ahead of scheduled service.
Is scheduled at the relevant counters/phones as needed and at the direction of management.
