*Job Title:* Appliance Repair Technician *Position Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team.
The Appliance Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and microwaves.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
*Responsibilities:* * Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with household appliances, including mechanical, electrical, and operational problems.
* Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts or components, such as motors, switches, heating elements, and circuit boards.
* Conduct preventive maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance and prevent future breakdowns.
* Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair options, timelines, and pricing.
* Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on appliances and handling tools and equipment.
* Stay updated on the latest appliance technology, repair techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.
*Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in appliance repair is preferred.
* Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or similar role, with a demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
* Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Ability to lift and move heavy appliances and equipment as needed.
* EPA certification for handling refrigerants is a plus.
Training provided * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when needed.
*Job Particulars:* Full Time Monday through Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.
