WHAT YOU WILL BRING A passion to care for medically underserved and marginalized communities.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of 4 years clinical experience required; outpatient/office OBGYN experience preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide appropriate and accurate client education, including medication education to clients for prescribed medications, and self-injection training.
Administer medication under the direction of the Advanced Practice Nurse according to scope of practice or licensure.
Respond to telephone calls, questions related to client care concerns requiring nursing judgment, respond to InBasket inquiries, MyChart messages, and tasks.
In collaboration with APRN, is responsible for maintaining accurate Pharmaceutical Inventory.
In collaboration with the APRN, is responsible for monthly emergency box inventory.
In conjunction with Practice Manager, reviews and reconciles Un-resulted Lab Report.
Acts as primary point person for blood collection needs for clinical orders.
Completion of patient assessment where appropriate according to scope of practice or licensure.
Assists in minor office procedures.
Acts as a medical consultant to health center staff.
In collaboration with the Practice Manager and Site supervisor, supervises clinical services within the health center.
Effectively responds to clinical staff and patient needs to ensure a standardized approach to providing high quality, safe, patient-centered, equitable health care for every patient, every time.
Maintain accurate records of client registration, medical records, lab tests, treatment, etc.
Competently utilize the computerized Electronic Health Record (Epic).
Assist client in completing required forms.
Support clients physically and emotionally during examinations/treatments.
Maintain cleanliness and inventory of the lab areas and exam areas.
Consult with clinician regarding client care/concerns as needed.
Prepares clients for exams and assists in exam room when needed.
Understands content of and accurately explains Informed Consent.
Measure and document client height, weight, and blood pressure.
Prepares examination room and maintains cleanliness and inventory of all aspects of the health center.
Handles medical waste utilizing universal precautions Communicates with co-workers to keep client visits moving in a timely manner.
Maintains confidentiality and exercises sensitivity in a nonjudgmental manner when dealing with sexuality and sensitive issues with clients.
Participates in risk and quality management processes.
Adheres to HIPPA, OSHA and CLIA regulations and workplace safety policies.
Is expected to be current in in-service trainings, workshops, seminars, and staff meetings.
