Job Description
*Role:* We are looking for a dependable pharmacy technician to help assist the pharmacist to process and fill prescriptions from time to time and work as a retail technician.
To work closely with the patient and physician to find solutions to individual health care challenges.
*Salary: *Starting $ (salary negotiable based on previous pharmacy experience and certifications)
*Tasks and Responsibilities:*
· Greet customers and answer questions
· Receive and verifies written prescriptions or refill requests for accuracy
· Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
· Select appropriate medicine and measure dosage to fill prescriptions
· Respond to the requests of patients and healthcare providers, answer questions, refer to pharmacist as needed
· Enter sales into the cash register, process payments, and bag prescriptions
· Resolve issues when they arise
· Undertake administrative tasks as assigned by a pharmacist or manager
· Perform other duties consistent with the purpose of job as directed

*Work Schedule: *Monday – Friday 8:30AM-9:00PM, Saturday & Sunday 9:00AM-5:00PM
Candidate profile
*Requirements:* high school diploma or GED equivalent and active, non-restricted technician certification from the PTCB
*Personal attributes:*
· Capacity to work in a team
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions simultaneously
· Self-motivated
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Reliable with a keen eye for detail
· Aptitude for using computers
· Knowledge of medication, medical terminology, and pharmacy law
