Our office is looking for a motivated Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate should have competent hygiene skills and interact with patients and staff in a professional and kind manner.
This position is full time 4 or 5 days per week 8:30am - 5pm

The hygienist must be knowledgeable in Eaglesoft.
*General responsibilities include: *Provide gentle cleanings, treatment planning, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, take X-rays, and sterilize dental instruments and trays.
*Detailed Responsibilities: *Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history, Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination, Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis, Clean and help protect patients teeth (e.
g.
remove plaque or apply fluoride), Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques), Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures, Take X-rays or dental impressions, Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer), Maintain documentation and charts on each patient, and monitor supplies
*Skills: *Knowledgeable in Eagelsoft.
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.
g.
HIPAA).
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
Outstanding communication skills.
A patient and friendly personality.
Attention to detail.
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job.
Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master s is a plus, Valid license to practice
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in using dental software (Eaglesoft) for charting and scheduling
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with medical imaging software for capturing and analyzing dental x-rays
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories
- Experience assisting with CAD/CAM technology is a plus
