Covering 14 Ohio Counties and with nearly 330 employees, Physicians Ambulance is one of the largest pre-hospital care providers in the region, with an intent focus on clinical care and the personal and professional advancement of their employees.
Founded in 1958 by Robert and Patricia Hess, Physicians Ambulance came into existence during an era where ambulance services and funeral home services often worked in tandem, and the main benefit to utilizing an emergency vehicle was the ability to get through traffic lights and to the hospital as quickly as possible.
Today, pre-hospital care has evolved and advanced service providers, like Physicians Ambulance, operate, essentially, mobile hospitals with the ability to stabilize and treat patients at an extremely high level of clinical care.
Physicians Ambulance leads the way in the markets they serve thanks to their outstanding medical direction, clinical education team, and investment in the latest technologies and methodologies.
Building upon one’s core knowledge, Physicians Ambulance aims to improve the performance and confidence of their clinicians and give them the building blocks to exceed here and in any healthcare realm with which they may pivot.
Physicians Ambulance aims to treat every employee like family.
