The HR/Talent Intern will assist the HR Team with recruitment, reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
This role will provide valuable exposure and experience in many aspects of Human Resources.
You will learn HR from a Talent Acquisition viewpoint; and what steps are taken to ensure that new hires are solid and remain lasting contributors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Assist with recruiting activities and intake meetings
Partner on local employee engagement activities
Assist Talent Acquisition and HR in day-to-day activities
Manage and complete department-assigned project(s) in a timely and effective manner.
Develop an understanding of VBS, and partner on process improvement projects
Requisition management and workflow processes
Shadow/overview the HR Generalist and HRBP role
Other duties as assigned
A Rising Junior or Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
Prior work or intern experience is a plus
Must be able to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Ability to work cross-functionally, and in a team environment
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
Above average social skills and ability to adapt to different social settings
Must have the ability to handle confidential information, issues, and decisions
