Summary:
Serves as a unit-based resource, mentor and supervisor to the assigned areas of responsibility.
Assists the Unit Manager in being accountable for optimal patient care, patient care standards, fiscal operations and systems that support patient care with the goal of attaining, maintaining and restoring optimum health.
Collaborates with the manager, communicates and exemplifies vision for change for interdisciplinary unit teams and practice groups including coaching, mentoring, directing, supporting, and teaching.
Participates in the delivery of high quality patient care in a cost-effective manner.
Formal Education Required:
a.
BSN
b.
Master’s degree preferred
c.
Certification preferred-or required to obtain within two years
d.
Current license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio
Experience & Training Required:
a.
One (1) year nursing experience and demonstrated leadership qualities

Ability to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and encouraging collegial relationships with others

Level of Physical Demands:
a.
Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
