Reporting to the CFO/Owner, the Controller is part of the leadership team and is responsible to carry out all aspects of financial management functions including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget preparation and internal control policies and procedures for Ohio Pools and Spa.

This position will work with all departments as well as other vendors, partners and customers.

*Responsibilities*
*What Will You Be Doing?*
The Controller position works with and reports to the CFO/Owner.
The Controller is part of the leadership team and is responsible to carry out all aspects of financial management functions including; stakeholder relationship building, corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget preparation and internal control policies and procedures.
*Qualifications*
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a CA, CGA or CPA and five (5) years of progressive financial leadership and business experience in a growing retail industry setting.
* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
* Oversee, facilitate and execute annual budget planning and processing for internal business controls.
* Collaborate and build relationships with financial partners to assist in growth process and strategies.
* Oversee, review and approve financial statements, reports and tax returns.
* Verify and analyze information for discrepancies.
* Managing and overseeing the company’s banking and borrowing arrangements.
* Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
* Ability to learn and share knowledge about pools, spas and other products including features, benefits, and installation requirements.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of accounting and other office computer programs.
