Perform a variety of duties associated with auditing and reporting that will support our transition from AIB to SQF certification.
Primary duties to also include chemical control program compliance and development.
Job Description
• Maintain chemical control program for plant compliance to include MSDS/COA acquisition and retention, plant auditing and employee awareness.
• Internal point of contact for issues with rodents and pests to include insects, birds, etc.
• Responsible for assuring document control of all approved quality documents.
• Prepares quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Drive continuous quality control improvement through the methodical collection and analysis of quality data.
• Works with departmental leadership to initiate corrective action process when nonconformances are discovered.
• Work from verbal and written instructions.
Follow established procedures and practices as documented in ISO 9001/2015 and audit finding reports.
• Positive and influential change leader.
Agent in charge of shaping quality culture for the plant.
• Observe all prescribed safety rules, codes, and regulations.
• Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Must have a demonstrated knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Competency in SAP preferred.
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
