ACI Learning Tech Academy serves the role as the Related Training Instruction provider and Apprenticeship Sponsor providing training and oversight.
This apprenticeship opportunity is not guaranteed and will go through an outlined and compliant assessment and hiring process with the ACI Learning Tech Academy and the employer.
Related class training and instruction is required in conjunction of the On-the-Job portion of the apprenticeship.
_ *Position Summary* The purpose of this role is primary oversight and governance and SME level knowledge for IT supported applications.
Includes in-depth understanding of the business processes end to end as well as working understanding of application processes, tables, interfaces, and integrations.
Supporting both on site and remote infrastructure, troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and excellent skills to ensure the efficient operation of our IT systems and applications.
The role involves overseeing a diverse set of technologies and collaborating with various stakeholders.
This position supports a lean and safe working environment while focusing on continuous improvement, quality, and support of teamwork throughout the Company.
*Essential Job Functions* * Responsible for creating and maintaining all documentation relating to software procedures.
* Studies and documents specific business and system requirements; and plans, schedules, and coordinates efforts to install and upgrade various applications systems.
* Must be able to troubleshoot/install/upgrade/uninstall system software as needed.
* Proactively seeks and offers recommendations for improvements in Help Desk procedures and overall associate services.
* Manages and maintains IT requests through HelpSTAR ticketing software.
* Routes IT requests through appropriate Subject Matter Expert (SME).
* Configures, administers, updates, writes reports, and provides technical support for a wide range of software applications, in addition to internally developed applications and interfaces.
* Designs, develops, implements, and coordinates projects, and troubleshoots applications systems problems.
* Configures, installs, maintains, and supports new and existing applications systems, including PC's, operating systems, servers, security, telecommunications, utilities, and related hardware and software.
* Performs application administration functions, analysis, and programming, and identifies and responds to security and performance issues.
* Serves a key role in providing technical expertise for product evaluation, new deployments, and updates.
* Works closely with the various testing, development teams to review and coordinate new infra changes, including version upgrades.
*Marginal / Less Essential Job Functions* * Assists other associates, departments and facilities working on tasks outside of specific areas of responsibility.
* Has excellent team working, customer service and communication skills.
* May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, MS Office applications, electronic mail and operating systems.
* Maintains departmental Quality Management System Documentation.
* Must have good analytical skills.

*Educational Requirements* * High school diploma or GED.

* Must be able to quickly learn new information technology offerings as well as improving technical skills.
* Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and networking as well as working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
* Must have technical aptitude and excellent “people skills”.
* Computer Programming * Familiarity with security protocols, managed detection and response, and email security solutions.
* Familiarity in programming and coding languages (GitHub, MS SQL, SQR, XML, Camel) is a plus.
* Prior experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, including support, programming, and security management.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Certifications in relevant technologies (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, etc.
) are a plus.
