PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for providing imaging support to physicians and employees, as well as developing, automating, and maintaining software systems related to imaging informatics.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Provide application and technical support.
Monitor and maintain applications.
Collaborate on projects to develop new software systems and automations.
Provides technical, operations and training support to users for the following Information Systems which include but are not limited to:
Radiology Information System (RIS)
Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS)
Deliver exceptional customer service to teammates and end users.
Provide follow up to end users when resolutions are not met in a timely manner.
Rotational on-call scheduling.
Responsible for covering various shifts during downtimes.
Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum three years of technical experience in Radiology or similar applications.
Knowledge of computer systems and related technology, including multiple software systems, interfaces, printer and peripheral operating systems.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent time management, prioritization and the ability to problem solve issues.
Professional communication skills – both verbal and written.
Ability to work with co-workers.
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
Must be reliable and punctual for all shift requirements.
