The IS System Engineer is responsible for the implementation and support of highly secure and resilient information technology solutions and is considered a subject matter expert.
Accountable for delivery of technical systems/solutions, plus the architecture and documentation within their area of technical expertise, supporting enterprise and global environments while focused on continuous improvement in support of the IT strategic vision and roadmap.
The role provides significant expertise in monitoring and managing user accounts for hardware, network, related computer systems and peripheral devices.
Identifies and addresses complex usability problems in the Information Services Delivery function.
Job Core Responsibilities Performs a wide range of complex work to establish and maintain information systems, databases and interfaces to meet business objectives.

Responds to and resolves computer problems quickly to ensure maximum uptime and minimum disruption to user activity.
Analyzes, develops, and implements business solutions for the Information Services Delivery Function.
Builds, configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software.
Acts as a lead in Information Services projects, performs analysis and implements multi-function office systems.
Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs and makes recommendations to increase efficiency to meet business needs.
Stays abreast of new Digital and IT technological innovation/processes and researches the usage at Parker.
Understands business impact; Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.
Guide and train team members in technical business skills and processes.
Has a broad understanding of Digital and IT strategy across all functions and can assess impact within own area of responsibility.
Interprets business requirements effectively that can translate to information technology solutions.
Applies and leads continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and improve system efficiencies within the Enterprise solutions working closely with division/group on localized systems.
Performs IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, system analysis of complex technologies with considerable scope, development, testing, project management (goals and objectives) and change management.
Performs benchmark analysis and ROI on existing and new Digital and IT solutions in order to estimate, develop and manage departmental/project budgets and cost/performance analysis.

Leads the development and implementation of solutions that address new business requirements, risk management and producing standardized documentation.
Establishes methods to monitor and improve performance of systems and processes; identifies deficiencies in IT systems/processes and recommends solutions / areas for improvement.
Single point of contact for all communications with 3rd party vendors while managing project expectations.
Ability to travel as needed.
Available to provide after-hours and weekend technical support as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
The primary duties of this job require highly-specialized skill in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications; the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; the design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems; or a combination of these duties.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Job Specifications Education: Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent) Years' Experience: 8 or more years of experience in Information Technology Skills: Experience in Agile methodologies and can apply those processes to everyday work Experience in security best practices and compliancy requirements for area of expertise Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively Experience working in LAN/WAN support, help desk, PC Support, Software support Experience working with Engineering and Manufacturing applications and IT Security preferred Experience working with ERP/Business Systems such as SAP, MSS preferred Proficient in VMWare - vSAN\NetApp\SAN Proficient in Cisco Technologies Proficient in Veam or Commvault or Avamar Proficient in Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 Professional Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure.

Excellent analytical skills and judgement to proactively identify and solve increasingly complex problems.
