About the Position
The Tire Intelligence team is in search of a driven individual with a background in embedded software programming.
This person will play a crucial role in supporting the development of algorithms that utilize advanced digital signal processing and sensor fusion techniques.
These algorithms are pivotal in enabling the launch of groundbreaking mobility solutions and services tailored for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and fleets.
Responsibilities
Implement software for embedded ECUs (e.
g.
, dSPACE MicroAutobox) from requirements to deployment.
Test and debug software solutions in offline environments (SIL, HIL, etc.
).
Deploy on target controller(s) and verify desired performance.
Develop and deploy test methods to validate systems against requirements and performance goals; document and provide feedback to engineering teams.
Data acquisition; capture/log data for problem investigation, including presenting annotated data to engineering teams.
Maintain software version control during all stages of software development.
Perform other duties, support special projects and tasks as assigned.
Support the development and maturation of the SW Toolchain.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Or in lieu of degree 10 or more years of experience designing/delivering software applications – Working on an agile software development team(s)
Master's or PhD degree in related field desired.
5+ years experience in designing/delivering software applications required.
Proficient in rapid prototyping environments such as dSPACE MicroAutobox hardware, and skilled in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) testing methodologies.
2+ years of experience in dSPACE control and automation desk software.
Proficient in Model Based SW Design (MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW)
2+ years experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and related tools to measure and command signals, through scripting or otherwise.
Exposure to Automotive Standards and Processes (CMMI / V-Model / ASPICE / ISO26262 / etc.
)
Involved in all facets of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, development, implementation, and testing.
Experience in adhering to automotive development processes, including A-Spice, ISO26262, and AUTOSAR.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
