Performance Health is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team in Akron, OH.
In this role, you will be responsible for development, planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of the manufacturing of products within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelops and maintains project design control documentation.
Follows established procedures for Engineering Team.
Reviews product design and installation for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems Identifies and resolves problems related to current manufacturing processes Develops and researches new processes and products to improve processes and increase efficiency Selects materials and components that are most effective and cost efficient to keep the company at a competitive edgePerforms other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field3-5 years of engineering experience working in a manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and AutoCADAbility to operate Mill, Lathe, and GrinderExtrusion Manufacturing experience a plusAbility to lift/move up to 50 pounds BenefitsOur benefits include healthcare; insurance benefits; retirement programs; paid time off plans; family and parenting leaves; wellness programs; discount purchase programs.
This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $90,000-$105,000 plus benefits.
