Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL databases and queries to meet business requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
· Create and maintain database schemas, indexes, and other database objects.
· Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
· Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code for various database applications.
· Perform data analysis, data cleansing, and data validation.
· Ensure data security and integrity through proper access controls and encryption.
· Support Data Warehouse Object creation and population, for Enterprise Data Warehouse.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database processes and procedures.
Requirements:
· 8+ years of experience with SQL Server, Integration Services and Reporting Services.
· C Sharp experience is a plus.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Proven experience as a Senior SQL Developer or similar role in designing and managing SQL databases.
· Strong proficiency in SQL programming, query optimization, and performance tuning.
· Experience with database design principles, normalization, and indexing techniques.
· Familiarity with database security and backup procedures.
· Knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
