Under the direction of the JFS Staff Development Program Manager, Incumbent is responsible for representing the department in State hearings for Public Assistance and OMJ.
The Incumbent is responsible for conducting in-house reviews of assigned cases for Public Assistance, OhioMeansJobs, Child Support Enforcement Agency, Adult and Child Protective Services and the Agency Group Home to detect, correct and reduce errors in casework and case documentation processes previously processed by other workers.
The incumbent also provides statistical reports on error rates in assigned cases, and develops in-house policies and procedures for agency problems in collaboration with the management team.
The incumbent will assist with development, implementation, and monitoring of all Training Activities for all divisions of Portage County Job and Family Services to ensure the Agency is compliant with all Agency, State and Federal mandates pertaining to licensing, accreditation, and individual divisional Program Compliance Standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Overall Job Functions Participates in Agency Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance initiatives through the overall development and implementation of QI and QA policy and procedure for all divisions of Portage County Job and Family Services.
Accurately compiles, tracks and reports QA performance measures, as appropriate for each Agency Division, in Divisional Tracking Databases to allow statistical reporting for error rates for all Agency Division administered programs and services.
Responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation of all QA Case reviews following Agency policies and procedures.
Participates in workflow analysis for all divisions, identifying areas of needed improvement and development of plans of action, as assigned.
Participates in QA and QI meetings as assigned.
Assists Agency in implementation and administration of training initiatives in all divisions, including but not limited to: TANF, SNAP, Medicaid, NET, Child Care, Fraud, Work Activities, CCMEP, WIOA, PRC Child Support enforcement and modification orders Adult and Child Protective Services Foster Parent and Group Home initiatives Assists the Agency in maintaining appropriate training documentation to meet all Agency, State and Federal guidelines and policies for licensing, accreditation, and mandates.
Conducts interview clients over the phone, as needed.
Keeps current in areas of responsibility by attending skill development seminars, conferences, or training sessions.
Performs other related duties as required.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Operates a motor vehicle as needed to perform the essential functions.

Conduct in-house reviews of assigned Group Home cases to detect, correct and reduce errors in case documentation previously processed by assigned staff for Group Home Residences.
Conduct in-house reviews of all mandatory Group Home logs, reports, and mandatory files to ensure Agency remains within licensing and accreditation standards.
