Goodyear’s Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational direction for all recruiting within our Corporate Functions business for salaried and early talent recruiting.
This individual will manage a team of Recruiters responsible for the end-to-end recruiting process in collaboration with Goodyear’s Senior leaders and Human Resources to drive top talent to our organization while delivering an exceptional internal and external hiring experience.
This role will cover a global footprint for reporting and oversight of Corporate Functions roles and need to work In collaboration with our EMEA and APAC Talent Acquisition leaders.
This role will utilize a home office (option to be onsite) but will need to travel to our HQ's in Akron, Ohio for required meetings.
On occasion, this role will be required to schedule and/or attend meetings that are outside of normal business hours to accommodate global time zones and team needs.
Key responsibilities include: Manage a regional or global workforce and identify Goodyear’s Global Recruiting needs within different regions and functions.

Build strong relationships with our Human Resources and Business leaders to ensure that TA is providing the correct level of service based on talent needs.
60%: Recruiting leadership: Responsible for managing, coaching, developing and mentoring a team of Talent Acquisition Recruiters in various regions who are performing direct targeted recruiting searches and providing creative recruiting solutions.
Drive operational excellence in all talent acquisition activities and maintain strict compliance in accordance with legal guidelines and organization standards.
Manage the candidate experience through efficient process management and make process recommendations to increase efficiency and best practices.
Must be able to provide ideas and input to both HR and TA Leadership on current practices and policies as well as identify new opportunities for improvement.
Customer Service/Client Satisfaction: Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal customers at all levels and communicate and educate on talent acquisition processes, policies and systems.
20%: Technology & Data: Act and provide technical expertise on systems like our Tableau Dashboards, ATS, LinkedIn and other tools and resources associated with Talent Acquisition.
Implement region wide programs across the team.
Responsible for monitoring and driving key talent acquisition metrics including Customer Satisfaction and key Diversity Recruiting KPI’s 10%: Partner with Global Talent Acquisition team: Engage and collaborate with the Global Talent Acquisition leadership team to build relationships across the organization and leverage learnings, share best practices, and scale ideas through projects as we continue to build our Global TA COE.
10% Vendor Management: This role will be responsible for managing external vendors and associated services in the focused recruiting areas being overseen, ensuring charges are planned and accurate and service level agreements are maintained.
In addition, this role will partner closely with the Director of Global Talent Acquisition and Procurement to manage, review and execute vendor agreements to ensure a positive contracts and outcomes for Goodyear.
Critical Experiences and Capabilities required: 6+ years of progressive growth in a recruiting or relevant HR role with at least 2 years in a management capacity Ability to collaborate effectively within the team and influence/partner across a wide variety of levels, functions, and geographies Highly credible, demonstrated experiences in operating with ambiguity, and can maintain the highest level of discretion Fully knowledgeable in recruiting techniques, sourcing methods (proactive recruiting, executive referrals, research, advanced search methodologies, etc.
), and candidate engagement activation programs Project management skills demonstrated through experience in a high-performance environment where multiple projects and competing demands are the norms.
