*Warehouse Associate Summary:* Our Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of receiving and preparing inventory for customer orders.
The Warehouse Associate will be working closely with the purchasing staff, and report to the Warehouse Manager.
*Responsibilities:* ● Efficiently pull, unbox, and prepare orders for the delivery team.
● Accurately label and receive incoming items using a scanner and tablet.
● Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy.
● Keep neat and orderly records of all incoming and outgoing orders.
● Keep up the image – responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse and delivery trucks.
● Always demonstrate commitment to all safety standards.
● Perform inventory control checks.
● Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
● Use equipment properly and maintain it as needed.
● Operate a forklift, as needed.
● Report any order discrepancies or damage to management ASAP.
● Drive transport vehicles, such as trucks and vans, when necessary to move stock.
● Provide backup to the delivery team on delivery trucks as necessary ● Other duties as assigned.
*Position Requirements:* * High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Valid driver’s license with minimal violations.
* Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills are required.
* Forklift certification and experience is a plus.
* Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse experience is a plus.
* Ability to work on your feet for 8 hour shifts and regularly lift and/or move objects 50-100lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 300lbs.
* Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
* Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
* Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
* Specific vision abilities required for this job include; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
* Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
