SUMMARY: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
Perform PM’s, electrical, plumbing, and plant and office facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair secondary equipment (welders, riveters, grinders, etc.
) to safe operating conditions in a timely manner.
Minor repair of hydraulic and mechanical presses.
Lubricate or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
Perform and keep records of preventative maintenance.
Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
Communicate to the supervisor regarding unsolved maintenance issues.
Work with hand tools, and welders, work from high lifts, and work with various oils and solvents.
Work with computers.
Adhere to all safety rules set forth by OGI.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES: High school degree or GED is required.
Additional maintenance education preferred 3 (Three) to 6 (Six) years experience in a medium to heavy industrial maintenance facility preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power (480 V) and machine control systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power systems.
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, wiring schematic, and drawings for the above system.
Read dial calipers, tape measures, etc.
Use arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their application to solve maintenance issues.
Knowledgeable in repairing welders, riveters, grinders, etc.
