Premier Building Solutions, Inc.
is a manufacturer and supplier of caulking, sealants, and adhesives for industrial and residential use.
We are currently seeking candidates to join our Quality Control team at our corporate office located in Massillon, OH.
The position would be day shift.
Position Summary: Quality Control Supervisor will provide technical, operational, and strategic leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of quality systems to ensure that Premier Building Solutions, Inc.
follows US and international regulations, laws, and guidelines that oversee the manufacturing and testing of our adhesives and sealants.
This position reports to the R&D Lab Manager.
Responsibilities
Supervise a team of QC Technicians.
Lead Premier’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Perform final quality control checks on finished goods pallets of material.
Perform quality analysis on incoming raw materials.
Perform quality checks as the batches of materials are being made (moisture checks, temperature checks, density checks, etc.
)
Perform Safety Behavioral Audits
Data entry into QC databases.
Help to resolve customer inquiries and ensure that corrective actions are followed.
Create Certificates of Authenticity and lead Retain management.
Oversee and perform QC audits.
Develop quality control tests, processes, and procedures to ensure product supply, including establishment of appropriate processes for specifications setting, data trending and analytical method validation.
Manage Premier’s Custom Color program.
Ensure effective QC collaborations with members from the Production Management Team.
Promote a company-wide culture of quality and operational excellence.
Develop a vision for the future of QC for the company and how to implement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related Science field to Quality Control.
3-5 plus years of experience working in Quality Control or similar field.
In-depth technical and regulatory understanding of manufacturing and QC, as well as applicable international regulations and standards.
Proven leadership experience and people management skills with the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong collaboration and team building, communication, and organizational skills required.
Experience working with vendors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Teams.
