Una Care Products is actively seeking an energetic Plant Supervisor to lead our thriving organization in the cosmetic and personal care contract manufacturing domain.
This opportunity is crafted for an accomplished professional capable of providing strategic leadership and operational excellence, ensuring the highest standards in product quality and efficiency.
With ambitious plans for growth, we envision this role evolving into a key leadership position as Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to final product quality control.
* Lead and inspire a team of production professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and safety.
* Develop and execute production plans, batch instructions, and operational guidelines.
* Implement and enforce all safety procedures and practices, ensuring a secure working environment for all team members.
* Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure seamless production and on-time delivery of products.
* Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and strategic plans for plant operations.
* Manage and maintain all manufacturing equipment, ensuring its optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
* Develop and execute contingency plans to address production interruptions and ensure on-time delivery to clients.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management role within the cosmetic, personal care, or contract manufacturing space
* Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing teams
* In-depth knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant industry regulations
* Proven experience in optimizing production processes and driving efficiency gains
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
* Ability to use measuring and testing devices
* Strong project management skills
* Experience in Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement and DMAIC analysis
This position may require the ability to lift 70+ lbs and could involve long hours of standing.
