Job Summary: Data Management Team Lead is responsible to oversee a small staff of specialists assigned to create, manage, and support the technical artefacts related to system configurations and usage.
S/he will partner with internal stakeholders to achieve successful life-cycle control of globally-shared master data elements across multiple integrated systems, including SAP ERP and proprietary solutions.
Ensures data integrity processes are defined and followed within card manufacturing and personalization systems, and assures master data management complies with corporate standards.
Location: Twinsburg, Ohio Job Duties: Data Management Team Lead is a technology subject matter expert (SME), who will lead people and guide processes sed to manage master data content according to company rules.
Position supports multiple functional areas involving cross-system data integration points.
Manages master data creation, validation, and revision change control actions.
Oversees design reviews and approves new component setups, including BOMs, routings and SAP ERP data used across card manufacturing and personalization production.
Proactively supports stakeholder requests, conducts data analysis, produces monthly reports, and provides KPIs using BI/DW tools.
Job Specifications: Accountable for master data preparation and cleansing processes to ensure site-related content is accurate, complete, and in accordance with corporate standards and best practices.
Fosters teamwork by sharing knowledge, being proactive, and raising management visibility to urgent situations.
Uses critical thinking, data visualization skills, and consultative expertise to guide creation and maintenance of cross-system master data content, processes, and reporting including KPIs.
Facilitates stakeholder meetings to define required data elements and ERP material characteristics, prepare documents and configuration details, conduct and verify material-related setups, and provide end-user support.
Evaluates, collects, and correlates relevant data content to support reporting needs; highly adept at extracting and translating pertinent data into a form that can be readily understood by business users.
Knowledge, experience and judgment to independently accomplish tasks, and effectively lead assigned staff by ensuring team members have necessary skills and capacity to deliver required services.
Demonstrates consistent ability to balance a sense of urgency against measured thinking and attention to detail.
Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times with good communication skills in English, team player.
Self-starter who exhibits reliable judgment in dealing with business, personnel, or security-related information.
Adheres to company policies, follows department procedures, and respects information security governance.
Willingness to occasionally work beyond regular office hours when needed; limited travel may be required.
Displays excellent work habits, including collaborative attitude, punctual attendance, and appropriate dress.
Work performed in a light industrial setting; exposure to shop floor noise, and occasionally may lift up to 40 lbs.
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach and move safely around the facilities.

Qualifications and Skills: Proficiently creates effective and efficient database queries and scripts involving use of MS-SQL and SAP tools.
Displays expertise performing data extracts and manipulation, including use of MS-Excel spreadsheet functions.
Robust technical aptitude, including strong logical skillset and understanding of basic programming concepts.
Configures role/responsibility setups related to web portal applications, and maintains external user access.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system processing environments, conduct triage activities, and provide support to resolve data, application and system issues, including implementing corrective actions.
Ability to learn technical applications by studying detailed documentation, as well as instruct and mentor others.
Manages administrative duties and efficiently coordinates assigned roles, functions, resources, and processes.
Ability to conceptualize and analyze issues, with proven planning, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
Capable of balancing priorities to complete tasks and assignments in highly detailed and accurate manner.
Strong track record of advocating technical solution configurations within customer-facing environment.
Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience in a technology leadership or consulting role; or an Associate Degree with 5+ years of experience leading data analyst functions.
Minimum of 5 years technical experience with data creation, handling, translation, modeling, and reporting.
Minimum of 2 years performing navigation with SAP ERP system modules, with solid understanding of material master data characteristics and business data warehouse reporting concepts is required.
Prior experience leading technical teams including supporting talent management processes is required.
High level of computer competency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio).
Experienced leader and capable of influencing others through effective verbal and written communications, including preparing and making presentations at all organizational levels.
Expertise with technical configurations, including writing SQL Server scripts, using database stored procedures, and familiarity with programming concepts.
Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, preferred.
